Notice the photo above? Yes, that’s what I call, as well as most people I know, a junk drawer. They seem to be ubiquitous in most households that I’ve ever been in, and like myself, the homeowners do nothing but complain about having one.
In researching an upcoming post I came across some fascinating images concerning the U.S. Pledge of Allegiance that I have never before seen or even heard of. It’s almost that this little part of our history has been carefully edited not only out of our history books, but out of our collective memory.
So there’s been a lot of tweeting lately about the sudden demise of D.J. Grothe at JREF. It’s contributed to a lot of rumors and speculation as to why he’s out but maybe the answer is much simpler than what many others think.
